Canadian cannabis giant Canopy Growth is partnering with lifestyle giant Martha Stewart to launch a new line of U.S. CBD products, with flavours inspired by some of her most popular recipes.

The new products include gummies, softgels and oil drops, developed by Stewart with cannabinoid scientists at Canopy Growth.

“I’ve found that CBD supplements are a simple way to enhance my own health and wellness, especially when it comes to managing the stresses of daily life,” Stewart said in a news release.

“I set out to create the most delicious CBD products on the market, drawing inspiration from some of my favorite recipes and flavor profiles from my greenhouse and gardens.”

Stewart said her gummies more closely resemble French pate de fruits, “rather than the sticky, overly sweet versions you might find elsewhere. “

Prices for the products range from $34.99 US to $44.99 US. They are not for sale in Canada.

Canopy Growth CEO David Klein said the collaboration with Stewart is part of the firm’s strategy to partner with trusted brands.

“[W]hich is why we’ve chosen to collaborate with Martha Stewart, someone who people turn to for advice on living well,” Klein said in the news release.

Canopy Growth, which is partially owned by booze-giant Constellation Brands, has partnered with other celebrities, including Snoop Dog, whose Leafs by Snoop is produced by the firm.

What’s next for Stewart? She’s said to be working on more CBD projects, including products for pets and skincare products.
