Man allegedly robs BC Cannabis Store, assaults workers after being refused a refund

Police are looking for a male suspect involved in a robbery and assault after being denied a refund at a cannabis shop in B.C.’s Okanagan.

The incident happened at a BC Cannabis Store in Oliver at 11 a.m. on Feb. 22. It’s believed a man entered the store, requested a refund and when he was denied, assaulted staff and stole other product.

Officers patrolled the area and collected video surveillance. Mounties released photos of the suspect on March 4.

The man is described as white, with a French-Canadian accent, about 5’ 10” tall, with short brown hair and light blonde facial hair.

At the time of the alleged assault and robbery, he was wearing a navy blue baseball cap, black jacket, dark pants and shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers.
