A Little Bud blossoms: Company brings trademark service to Duncan, Okanagan

You can now visit A Little Bud in Duncan, on Vancouver Island.

Business is blooming for A Little Bud.

From its flagship location in White Rock, BC, the cannabis shop has now expanded to Duncan, on southern Vancouver Island, says A Little Bud owner Randy Tingskou, noting a second Island location is also scheduled for early 2022.

The Duncan store has opened in a location familiar to locals – the former Cowichan Valley Access Club at No. 6 3050 Allenby Rd., with Magz Hedley heading up the local team. “We’re so excited to have her here, with her knowledge and experience,” Tingskou says.

Beyond the Island, A Little Bud also recently purchased two Green Gaia locations in the Okanagan’s Penticton and Summerland communities.

The growth comes at a natural time for the business, and the locations complement each other, Tingskou says.

From White Rock to Vancouver Island to the Okanagan, the communities share a vacation vibe that suits A Little Bud’s relaxed approach that’s big on customer service, whether serving locals or visitors.

And that’s a key distinguishing feature in an industry where products and prices are often similar.

“Customer service is our specialty and it shows – it shows in our reviews and it shows in our customers’ experience,” Tingskou says.

Satisfy those munchies with A Little More

What pairs perfectly with a premium cannabis product? Premium snacks, of course! At each of A Little Bud’s locations, you’ll find the companion store, A Little More, filled with hard-to-find drinks and unique snacks from around the world, including the US, the UK and Asia.

Growing with gratitude

Tingskou knows that the growth A Little Bud is enjoying is only possible with roots firmly planted in the community and a continued commitment to their team.

“We are extremely grateful to our staff, who have worked relentlessly through the pandemic, and extremely grateful to our customers, who have shown their appreciation for both A Little Bud and A Little More,” Tingskou says. “We couldn’t do it without you!”
