With a commitment to community, to quality and to providing customers with an accessible experience, Muse Cannabis has opened its first Fraser Valley location, in Maple Ridge.
Following a soft opening last month, Muse officially opens its doors at Westgate Shopping Centre on Saturday, Nov. 20. The store will be open for its usual hours – 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. – with the grand opening event scheduled from noon to 4 p.m.
Part of a fourth-generation family-run business with deep roots in hospitality and retail, the new location is the fifth for Muse – the South Granville flagship location opened two years ago – but it’s the first in the Fraser Valley.
As a BC business, Muse is invested in its communities, from the neighbours welcomed through the doors to the team’s passion for supporting local when possible. Its charity of choice is Music Heals, a Vancouver-based non-profit that raises awareness and funds to increase access to music therapy for vulnerable Canadians, including those living here in Maple Ridge.

While you won’t find budtenders at Muse, you will find knowledgeable Wayfarers – a name that reflects their commitment to listen and guide, but never push.
“We’re here to educate, to help customers find the right products for them, and we’re here to guide people in safe cannabis use,” says Muse marketing director Dennis Dong. “We don’t preach or push and we offer everyone the experience we would expect ourselves.”
The inviting setting and concierge experience is designed to create a space where experienced cannabis users and newcomers alike feel comfortable browsing, asking questions and sharing their goals, needs and experiences, Dong says.
And when you simply want to spend a little time exploring what’s available, products are clearly grouped and labelled to help guide your visit.
