For Jima Cannabis, the latest in new cannabis retailers hitting the market in Abbotsford, BC’s home-grown marijuana is what sets them apart from many cannabis retailers in Canada.
“Our focus is on quality product,” says Allison Di Tomaso, Manager, Brand and Marketing for Jima Cannabis. “BC has a lot of great cultivation. We honour local and the best product selection. We are home-grown.”
Jima Cannabis is set to open its first retail outlet on July 1 at 1900 Parallel Rd. North in the Marketplace and will welcome clients from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
“Our Abbotsford location is the first of four that will be opening in BC,” says Di Tomaso. Other locations will open in Victoria later this summer. Jima Cannabis will have eight locations in BC, four of which will be opened this year and the remaining four by the beginning of 2022.

“Our community outreach has been well received. We look forward to having many artists sign-up for the display,” adds Di Tomaso. They are working closely with community organizations on the guidelines for the artwork.
According to Stats Canada, Canada’s Cannabis market is worth around $7 billion this year. The market is growing steadily since its legalization in 2018, and Jima Cannabis is proud to be part of the growth.
A report by Deloitte indicates the Canadian Cannabis Market could grow as high as $22 billion in the next decade. It may seem unreasonable to assume such growth, but the potential is evident in the reported numbers. Jima Cannabis is committed to being part of the positive economic contribution in the province.
