As a working mom, actress and entreprenaur Kristin Bell says CBD skincare producs have helped her “turn down the volume of my life” and now she’s passing that on with her own line of body butter and bath bombs.

This week, the Frozen star and the Cronos Group Inc. launched Happy Dance collection of cannabinoid-infused products made with plant-basied oils and butters, set to be available in the U.S. and Canada.

Bell said in a statement her love for CBD products began three years ago when she discovered Lord Jones’ line. Lord Jones was sold to Canadian cannabis company Cronos in August 2019 for US$300 million.

“I was inspired to create a line of high-quality, affordable CBD bath and body care products that would reach a wide audience,” Bell said in a statement.

“Having been involved in all aspects of bringing this new brand to life, from the formulations to the packaging, I couldn’t be happier to launch Happy Dance today.”

All products are vegan and cruelty-free.

One percent of profits from all sales on the Happy Dance website will benefit A New Way of Life Re-Entry Project, a Black-owned organization out of Los Angeles that provides housing, advocacy and other services for women rebuilding their lives after prison.

“It was essential to me that Happy Dance be a purpose-driven brand that challenged the traditional notion of self-care,” said Bell, who stars in The Good Place.
